New publication about ‪TRANSFOMEM‬ project!!!

@IMDEA Agua y @TRANSFOMEM attended the presentation of the 8º issue of iAgua Magazine

IMDEA Agua attended to the 8 issue of @iAgua Magazine, where Life-Transfomem staff has contributed with an opinion paper about reverse osmosis membranes "Una alternativa de gestión de membranas desechadas" (only printed spanish version is available).

New scientific publication about end-of-life RO membrane transfromation

The Technology Membrane Group of IMDEA Water has just published in Journal of Membrane Science part of the work conducted at Raquel García Pacheco Thesis and during the first year of LIFE-TRANSFOMEM project. Research is focused on the end-of-life reverse osmosis membrane transformation into nanofiltration and ultrafiltraion membranes by using sodium hypochlorite as an oxidant reagent. The result are promising and will be apply in the pilots systems of transformation within the LIFE-TRANSFOMEM project.

LIFE-TRANSFOMEM project has participated in the International Desalination Association World Congress 2015

LIFE-TRANSFOMEM project has participated in the International Desalination Association World Congress 2015, held in San Diego (California).

Raquel García Pacheco, who belongs to the research team in the LIFE-TRANSFOMEM project, participated with an oral presentation entitled "TRANSFORMATION OF END-OF-LIFE RO MEMBRANE INTO RECYCLED NF AND UF MEMBRANES, SURFACE CHARACTERIZATION".
